MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Election Commission Azad Kashmir has announced that applications for voter registration, objections or pleas for correction could be submitted from April 28 to May 4, 2026.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has issued an amended schedule for the revision of electoral rolls ahead of the general elections.
According to details, preliminary voter lists will be published on April 28, while final lists will be displayed on May 16. The Election Commission said that applications for voter registration and objections could be filed by May 4.
According to Secretary Election Commission, Raja Muhammad Shakeel Khan, the verification process of updated lists from NADRA will be completed by April 22.
According to the Secretary, preliminary electoral rolls will be published on April 28, 2026.
Applications for voter registration
He said applications for voter registration, objection or correction can be submitted from April 28 to May 4, 2026.
The Election Commission Review Authority will decide on the applications during May 5 to 7, 2026.
According to the Election Commission, the final electoral rolls will be published by May 16, 2026.
The Election Commission has appealed to citizens to check their name, address and particulars in the lists published on April 28.
In case of any error, the residents have been asked to contact the office of the concerned Registration Officer by May 4.
All Deputy Commissioners and Registration Officers have been directed to strictly implement the schedule.
