Pir Mazhar Saeed Shah gets key JUI post in Azad Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Central General Council and Shura of All Jammu and Kashmir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) has elected Pir Mazhar Saeed Shah as its Central Ameer.

The Central General Council and Shura held its meeting in Muzaffarabad on Saturday. After detailed deliberation on the political, organizational, and national affairs of the state, several important decisions were unanimously made in the meeting.

Qazi Mahmood-ul-Hassan appointed JUI Supreme Head

During the meeting, significant changes were made in the central leadership and organizational structure. Maulana Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah was unanimously elected as the Central Ameer of the party, while Maulana Qazi Mahmood-ul-Hassan Ashraf was appointed as the Supreme Head of the party.

In addition, appointments were made for other central positions: Maulana Qazi Manzoor-ul-Hassan was appointed Patron, Maulana Abdul Malik Siddiqui Advocate as Senior Deputy Ameer, Maulana Basharat Hussain Naveed as General Secretary, Maulana Mufti Muhammad Akhtar as Finance Secretary, and Maulana Hafiz Atiq-ur-Rehman Awan as Information Secretary.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on making the organization more active and organized to ensure the party’s full and effective participation in the upcoming state elections.

Participants also approved various measures to strengthen the organizational structure, and reforms through consultation on new positions.

Officials attending the meeting of the Central General Council also held detailed discussions on the party’s future roadmap at the national and state level.

During the meeting, the participants decided to further strengthen the party’s political activities and play an effective role in the upcoming elections.

The decisions of the meeting indicate that the party will continue to play an active role in the state through its organizational strength and political strategies.

At the end of the meeting, the newly elected central officials formally took oath and assumed their responsibilities, which express a new determination and enthusiasm in the party’s leadership.
