MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a tragic incident, a man allegedly killed his father-in-law in Nalochi, a densely populated residential area of the capital city Muzaffarabad.
Muhammad Umar, who had arrived from Karachi, allegedly killed Waheed Qureshi over a domestic dispute, according to police.
The incident spread fear and panic in the area, and a wave of deep concern swept through the local population.
According to details, immediately after the murder, local youths Tariq Mughal, Shahryar Abrar, and Usman Farooq displayed extraordinary courage and responsibility by identifying the culprit and promptly informing the police.

Upon receiving the information, SHO Civil Secretariat Police Station took immediate action and arrested the suspect.
According to sources, the suspect, Muhammad Umar, who is said to be a resident of Karachi, was apprehended at great personal risk.
After initial proceedings, the suspect was handed over to the Sadar Police Station for further investigation. Officials stated that a full investigation into the incident is underway, and all aspects, including the motives behind the murder, are being considered.
