ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has refuted reports regarding the suspension of Hajj flights schedule due to the current tense situation in the Middle East.
It clarified that reports published in a section of press are baseless and that all arrangements for Hajj 2026 are proceeding according to the planned schedule.
The Ministry’s spokesperson stated that some media outlets have published news about the postponement or suspension of Hajj flights in the context of Middle East tensions, and added, such reports are unfounded and contrary to facts.
According to the spokesperson, the Ministry is completing Hajj arrangements as usual.
The spokesperson informed that the process of issuing visas for Hajj pilgrims and other necessary arrangements is currently underway with full diligence.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs is actively working to ensure that all stages related to the departure of pilgrims are completed on time.
The spokesperson further said that the official announcement of the Hajj flight schedule will be made after Eid-ul-Fitr.
Details regarding Hajj flights
At that time, pilgrims will be provided with complete details regarding their Hajj flights, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, Makatib (camps), and other arrangements so that they could prepare for their departure with peace of mind.
The spokesperson for the Ministry has appealed to Hajj pilgrims not to pay attention to unverified reports, and to rely only on official announcements issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and authentic sources for information related to Hajj.
He stated that all arrangements for Hajj 2026 are being completed by the Government of Pakistan in a timely and effective manner to provide pilgrims with every possible convenience.
