WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): US President Donald Trump has said that the ongoing war with Iran is almost complete.
Ongoing war with Iran ‘is very complete, pretty much,’ Trump told CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System), a major American commercial broadcast television and radio network.
In an interview to the major American commercial broadcast television and radio network, Trump said that the war could be over soon. “I think the war is very complete, pretty much.”
He further said that the US is “very far ahead” of its initial 4-5 week estimate timeframe.
The statement by the US President comes after Russia advised US to end war with Iran.
In a first major telephonic contact between Trump and Putin after the start of the war, both presidents agreed to remain in regular contact.
In Trump’s phone call to Putin, an hour-long conversation, Trump urged a ceasefire with Ukraine, and the Russian president advised ending the war with Iran.
