SWABI (Kashmir English): A woman died in an ambulance after it struck a road blockage at the Swabi interchange after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a protest, blocking the motorway. The women belonged to Shirin Kot in Nowshera.
Sources said that PTI is creating problems for the people of its own province, and such measures are being taken for political purposes that directly burden the common citizens.
The party that claims to represent the people of the province is today causing problems in the daily lives of these same people. Once again, these people are busy causing trouble for the people, sources said.
Roads are being blocked in the name of protest, and an attempt is being made to bring common citizens before the state, although the worst loss is always borne by the poor.
Due to such protests, people’s businesses are affected, daily wage workers return home empty-handed, patients have difficulty reaching hospitals, and students’ studies are affected. Due to traffic jams, citizens face severe difficulties, and their routine life is disrupted.
“The fact is that the public is now fed up with these slogans and riots. Despite repeated calls and protest announcements, public enthusiasm is not what it used to be, and such measures often fail. It is not appropriate to put ordinary people in trouble for political purposes. The solution to problems is not chaos but a serious and peaceful approach,” sources said.
