BAGH (Kashmir English): In a Bagh police operation today, two suspects were arrested, Gul Ahmed and Safiyan, for possessing illegal weapons and drugs, including a 30-bore pistol, a 12-bore rifle, and 820 grams of hashish, during separate operations led by SSP Raja Akmal Khan as part of an ongoing crackdown on criminal activities.
The police department in Bagh District succeeded in recovering illegal weapons and drugs through two separate operations which aimed to target illegal activities. SSP Bagh Raja Akmal Khan led the ongoing special campaign which resulted in two drug-related raids conducted against criminals.
Two separate police operations were supervised by DSP Headquarters Faiz Rehman Abbasi while SHO Qazi Khakan Ahmad and his team of officers at Bagh City Police Station conducted them under his direction. A task force composed of five individuals led by Abdul Shakur and composed by ASI and both Abdul Qadeer and Saqib DFC and Hussnain Shah conducted the operation.
A police team arrested Gul Ahmed during their first operation thus taking into custody Gul Ahmed, the son of Muhammad Hussain, while seizing his 30-bore pistol and 12-bore rifle. Police officers conducted their second operation by detaining Safiyan, son of Muzaffar Sakkna from Kotehra who possessed 820 grams of hashish (charas).
Law enforcement authorities arrested the two suspects following which they filed official charges against them. The local police have active ongoing investigations and they maintain their fight against illegal activities throughout the entire district.
