ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced an extension in the biometric verification deadline for Hajj 2026 pilgrims.

This extension allows applicants to finish their required Saudi visa biometric verification. The official notification states that all government Hajj pilgrims who failed to finish their Saudi visa biometric verification by February 8, 2026, now have until February 17, 2026, to complete this process.

The ministry has urged pilgrims to complete their biometric verification process because any delay will create problems that will affect their visa issuance process. Authorities warned that any delay beyond the extended deadline may result in visa processing issues, which could ultimately prevent pilgrims from traveling for Hajj.

Pilgrims have been advised to complete their biometric verification through the official “Saudi Visa Bio” mobile application from home or visit their nearest Saudi Tasheer (Visa) Center along with their passport to complete the process.

Officials declared that this opportunity serves as the final chance that pending applicants can use to complete their requirements. The Saudi Hajj visa will not be issued to applicants who fail to complete biometric verification before February 17, 2026, thus making Hajj departure impossible.

The Ministry has strongly encouraged all concerned pilgrims to treat the matter as urgent and ensure compliance within the stipulated timeframe.
