Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that the allegations of the opponents regarding the operation in the Tirah Valley are based on lies.
He said that the government will speak openly on the issue of military action and an operation will be announced if necessary.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, while holding a press conference in Islamabad, said that many successful operations have been carried out in Pakistan before and whenever the need arises, the government will act transparently and announce the operation.
Addressing those opposing the operation in the Tirah Valley, Talal Chaudhry said that one’s incompetence, ineptitude or corruption cannot be hidden by repeatedly making false allegations against one’s own army.
He said that I had also said on the floor of the house that this issue should be discussed transparently and also clarified whether the KP government’s cabinet decided on the operation or not, and that Rs 4 billion was allocated for the operation.
The Minister of State alleged that these Rs 4 billion went into someone else’s pocket instead of the people of Tirah Valley, after which the opponents started making false allegations.
He said that some people want to make politics shine through their narrative, but the full responsibility for the work done lies with them and it cannot be shifted to anyone else.
