MIRPUR (Kashmir English): According to sources, a tragic traffic accident took place in Khaliqabad early in the morning, where a bus full of students of MUST University overturned due to high speed.
As soon as the accident was reported, panic spread in the area, and people present at the scene immediately started rescue efforts.
According to initial reports, more than 25 students were injured in the accident. Sources say that the condition of 4 to 5 of the injured students is said to be critical, who needed immediate medical attention.
According to the police, the accident occurred due to the high speed of the bus, as a result of which the driver could not control the vehicle, and the bus overturned.
As soon as the accident was reported, rescue teams immediately reached the scene. Rescue personnel removed the injured students from the bus and provided first aid, and later shifted them to a nearby hospital.
