ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a detailed weather forecast for the next 24 hours.
According to the report, cold and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country tomorrow, while temperatures are likely to remain extremely low in the hilly areas.
Moderate to heavy fog is likely to prevail in the plain areas of Punjab, Upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while fog is predicted at a few places in the Pothohar region and Kashmir in the morning hours.
The report said that Turbat received 01 mm of rain in the last 24 hours, while fog affected normal life in the plain districts of Punjab, Upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The following minimum temperatures were recorded in different parts of the country today: Leh, minus 14, Skardu, minus 13, Astore and Gopis, minus 10, Hunza and Gilgi,t minus 8, Kalat and Bagro,t minus 6, and Dir, minus 5 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Islamabad was zero, Quetta minus 3, Murree minus 1, Lahore and Karachi 9, Peshawar 1, and Muzaffarabad 3 degrees Celsius.
Citizens have been instructed to take precautionary measures during cold and foggy weather.
