LAKKI MARWAT (Kashmir English): In a tragic incident, terrorists attacked a private cement factory bus in the Begokhel area of ​​Lakki Marwat with an IED blast, killing one person and injuring eight others.

The injured include two women and four factory employees, while the condition of several injured is said to be critical.

According to the police, the blast took place on a bus going to a private cement factory from Begokhel village, destroying the bus. Officials reached the spot as soon as they received information about the incident and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.

Officials said that the blast initially took place at 6:30 am. The police have started investigating the incident, and security has been tightened in the area. Search operations are also underway to trace other possible threats.

According to the initial report of the blast, a cement factory employee was killed, while 8 other people were injured. The report further states that a case of the incident will be registered at the City Lakki Marwat Police Station, and further legal action will be taken after collecting all the evidence.

The regional administration and police have appealed to the public to be cautious in sensitive areas and report suspicious persons or activities immediately.
