PANGJUR (Kashmir English): Four Indian sponsored Khawarij were shot dead during an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur District of Balochistan, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to ISPR, “On 26 December 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur District of Balochistan, on the reported presence of Khwarij belonging to an Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.”

During the conduct of the operation, forces effectively engaged the Khwarij location, and after an intense fire exchange, four Indian sponsored Khwarij were killed.

“Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area, according to the statement.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji present in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam”  by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

Earlier, at least eight terrorists were gunned down, and twelve others were injured in an operation by security forces in Lakki Marwat, according to ISPR.

The bodies of four Khawarij were recovered by the security agencies.

One police constable and one Village Defense Committee (VDC) member embraced martyrdom, whereas two policemen and four VDC members sustained injuries.

According to security sources, VDC and militants exchanged fire on December 25 near the Takhti Khel graveyard.

During the exchange of fire, militants deployed automatic guns and quadcopters, as well as two aerial bombs, to target civilian residences in Tap Takhti Khel village.

There were no civilian injuries recorded.

In a follow-up operation on December 27, three militant retrieved from the Takhti Khel graveyard.

According to security sources, the killed militants included a high-value target (HVT), Nusrat, who was recently designated by the banned Fitna Al-Khawarij (FAK) organization as Head of Preaching and Guidance for Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan.
