MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) High Court has declared the advertisement issued by the DHO Jhelum Valley, along with the selection process, null and void.
This decision was pronounced in the case of Khizr Hayat Abbasi vs. DHO Jhelum Valley. According to the court decision, the selection process conducted for all the posts of LHV and Junior Technician, including the advertisement, has been declared ineffective.
Honorable Justice Chaudhry Khalid Rashid, Justice of the High Court, pronounced the decision in this case, as a result of which all the relevant appointments were cancelled.
The decision clarified that the advertisement issued by the DHO Jhelum Valley and the entire selection process carried out under it are not legal. On this basis, the court declared all the appointments null and void.
The case was pursued by Advocate Saqib Ahmed Abbasi, while Advocate Haroon Abbasi also appeared as Associate Counsel. The court pronounced the final decision in the case after hearing the arguments of the parties.
After the court’s decision, the entire selection process for the posts of LHV and Junior Technician will be considered over. According to this decision, all steps from advertisement to appointments have been null and void.
