MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Like various parts of the country, all is set to celebrate the 58th Founding anniversary of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) across Azad Jammu and Kashmir today (Nov 30).
The day will be celebrated with traditional zest coupled with renewal of the pledge to continue the mission of the party’s founder shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto for the progress and prosperity of the country.
PPP AJK to organize events
Special ceremonies will be hosted in various parts of AJK including the district headquarters under the auspices of local units of the PPP AJK chapter to celebrate the founding anniversary of the party.
The ceremonies will be followed by special programs to mark the significance of the founding anniversary.
Addressing these ceremonies speakers will pay rich tributes to founder chairman of the PPP late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and shaheed Benazir Bhutto for giving supreme sacrifices of their lives for the nation and the country, particularly for the down trodden class of the society.
In Mirpur district, the Founding Day will be celebrated with full zeal and respect. Special ceremonies will be held under the auspices of local PPP leaders at Kashmir Press Club Auditorium to mark the day.
PPP said in their address, speakers will pay rich tributes to departed leaders of the party for laying down the supreme sacrifices of their lives.
