RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Pakistan has won the tri-nation series final match (Pak vs SL) by defeating Srilanka by 6 wickets.
Pakistan chased the target in the 19th over of the match with 6 wickets in hand.
Babar Azam was not on 37 runs as the top scorer, while Salman Ali Agha scored 14 runs.
Openers Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub scored 23 and 36 runs respectively.
Earlier, in the final match of the tri-nation T20 series, Sri Lanka set Pakistan a target of 115 runs to win.
The Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 114 runs in 20 overs while batting first.
Kamil Mishara stood out for Sri Lanka by scoring 59 runs, and apart from him, no other Sri Lankan batsman could withstand the Pakistani bowlers. Kushal Mendis scored 14, and Nissanka scored 11 runs.
Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz took 3 wickets each, and Abrar Ahmed took 2 wickets.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to field against Sri Lanka in the final match being played in Rawalpindi.
