MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A man died, and four others were injured after their car plunged into a deep gorge on the Muzaffarabad–Abbottabad Road near Sehra Mel on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122 Muzaffarabad, the vehicle was travelling from Muzaffarabad to Abbottabad when it skidded off the road and fell into a ditch. Rescue teams immediately reached the scene and provided first aid to the injured.
Officials confirmed that five people were on board, four of whom belonged to the same family. One passenger died on the spot, while four others sustained injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Syed Iqbal Hussain Shah, aged 55, a resident of Jhelum Valley. The injured include Zohaib, Saqlain, Kainat Bibi, and Malik Samad.
Rescue personnel shifted all injured individuals and the deceased to CMH Muzaffarabad.
