LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Punjab government has extended the deadline for submitting application forms for the School Teachers Interns Program, media outlets reported on Thursday.
As per the official notification, applicants can submit their applications till November 24. The merit list will be displayed outside schools on November 26 at 10:00 p.m., while interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be held on November 29.
Appointment orders for selected interns will be issued on December 1, 2025. Officials said the program has received more than 220,000 applications so far, showing a strong interest among aspirants.
Earlier, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced major developmental projects at the request of the newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Faisal Rathore.
At the Foundation laying ceremony of Danish School Bagh, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the construction of schools in Haveli and Leepa Valley, Azad Kashmir, to facilitate the education of children.
While addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz stated that the construction of these schools is a gift to the newly elected PM of AJK, Faisal Rathore.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan was accompanied by federal ministers, PML-N Pakistan, and senior leaders of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
It should be noted that the foundation stone laying ceremony of Danish School Bagh has been postponed twice before, while the foundation stone laying ceremony of Danish School Bhimber has been done, and the foundation stone laying ceremony of Danish School in Neelum Valley will also be done.
