ISLAMABAD ( Kashmir English): King Abdullah II of Jordan visited Pakistan’s defense organization, Global Industrial and Defense Solutions.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), King Abdullah II was accompanied by a high-level delegation of civil and military officials, including Princess Salma bint Abdullah.
On the occasion of the visit to the defense organization, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir warmly welcomed the Jordanian king and his delegation and gave a detailed briefing.

In which Pakistan’s local defense production, technological innovation, and the possibilities of bilateral defense cooperation with Jordan were presented.
Later, King Abdullah II also visited the Field Firing Ranges, which was also attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The Minister of Defense Industries of Azerbaijan also attended the occasion. The King of Jordan and other guests witnessed the firing.
According to the ISPR, King Abdullah II witnessed the joint fire and maneuver exercise, which demonstrated ground, air, and multi-domain operations. “Drones, spectrum warfare, and integrated firepower were demonstrated brilliantly.”
King Abdullah II highly praised the training, professionalism, and operational capabilities of the soldiers and aircrew participating in the exercise.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has deep respect and affection for the King of Jordan and the people of Jordan, and this visit reflects the long-standing relations, mutual trust, and common goal of peace and development between the two countries.

During the visit, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir emphasized the strong defense partnership between Pakistan and Jordan and reiterated his commitment to further enhancing military cooperation in the future.
Earlier, King Abdullah II awarded Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir with the Order of the Military Merit of the First Degree, acknowledging his outstanding services and contributions in strengthening military cooperation between Jordan and Pakistan.
According to the ISPR, this 2-day visit of King Abdullah II is a reflection of the strong ties of historical brotherhood and friendship between Pakistan and Jordan.
