ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Security sources have revealed the involvement of the Afghan Taliban and the Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij [TTP] in the recent suicide blast in Islamabad on Tuesday, state-run PTV News reported, citing security sources.

The collusion between Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Kharij networks and elements within Afghanistan was exposed, it said.

As per the sources, the Islamabad blast took place around 12:45 pm, while suspicious activity began surfacing on Afghan social media accounts earlier in the day. Posts from several X accounts linked to the Afghan Taliban reportedly hinted at an imminent attack.

At 6:45 am, one such account posted a message reading “coming soon Islamabad”, followed by other threatening posts referencing militant operations.

Intelligence officials noted that similar messages had surfaced previously during the Afghan military parade, including threats about “hoisting the Afghan flag over Lahore and burning Islamabad.”

The Afghan X handle, Amaaj News, reportedly published provocative tweets on November 2, while another account titled, Khorasan al-Arabi, posted “Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim” immediately after the Islamabad explosion, a post that reflects the nefarious intentions of the Afghan regime, PTV News reported.

Security sources said these online activities provide clear digital evidence that the Afghan Taliban regime has failed to restrain elements engaged in cross-border terrorism.

They added that the Islamabad and Delhi blasts appear to be part of a coordinated campaign by two anti-Pakistan regimes, both aiming to destabilize Pakistan and undermine its internal security.
