ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) has announced 75 fully-funded scholarships for Pakistani students to study in China during the 2026–27 academic year.
These scholarships are part of an educational collaboration between China and Pakistan.
The nomination and shortlisting process will be carried out by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.
The program includes full funding by the Chinese government for tuition fees, accommodation, and a monthly stipend for BS, MS, and PhD degrees in a variety of disciplines.
There is a one-year Chinese language course for selected students too.
Applications must be submitted through both the HEC and CSC portals; the deadline will be January 5, 2026.
Eligible candidates include Pakistani or AJK nationals who conform to academic and age criteria, which include under 25 for BS, 35 for MS, and 40 for PhD.
The initiative is part of Beijing’s efforts to expand its educational outreach under the China-Pakistan Educational Exchange Framework.
