RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Army has criticized the Indian army leadership for parroting hallucinatory, made-up, and inflammatory propaganda, stating that the falsehoods being spread to the Indian masses and global viewership have made the “Indian military machine a laughing stock.”.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release stated that “It has been observed with serious concern that five months after Marka-e-Haq, ahead of elections in Bihar and West Bengal, Indian military leadership has begun parroting the same fantasist, fabricated and inflammatory propaganda that they chum out before every state elections in India,”.
The ISPR’s statement was issued in response to the comments made by Indian military commanders, in which its Director General Military Operations (DGMO), Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, according to NDTV, asserted that Pakistan had lost over 100 military personnel during the conflict in May.
While commenting on the false accusation of the Indian Authorities, the ISPR stated that a total of 53 people, including 13 members of the armed forces and 40 civilians, were killed in Indian strikes in the May clashes.
In another incident, India’s Western Army commander Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, in an event, stated that “Pakistan had no capacity to fight India” and threatened Operation Sindoor 2.0 in reply to another Pahalgam-type episode, according to The Times of India.
New Delhi has repeatedly accused Pakistan of the deadly Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK) attack that claimed the lives of a group of tourists, something Islamabad has denied in the strongest terms and requested a neutral, international probe into the attack.
Pointing out that it was regrettable to witness the military command of a nuclear nation making irresponsible comments in the face of overwhelming political pressure.
The army’s media department stated that every professional soldier would be aware that unnecessary braggadocio and unjustified statements could create a cycle of jingoism and cause detrimental effects on peace and stability in South Asia.
Pointing out the clear contradictions in the Indian Army press conference, the ISPR called it not worth dignifying with a response.
“The Indian leadership is trying to shape history to their convenience by fabricating absurd, Bollywood-like scripts,” the statement added, pointing out that apparently the Indian Army and political leadership have failed to come to terms with the fact that they have been soundly defeated in Marka-e-Haq, the May clash between the two nuclear-armed neighbours during which Pakistan downed seven Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft in retaliation for New Delhi’s crossborder raids.”, ISPR stated.
The Indian military’s propaganda arm also attacked India, claiming that the international community identifies New Delhi “as the real face of cross-border terrorism and hub of regional uncertainty, determined on adventurism and hegemonism at the expense of its people and neighbours”.
The ISPR’s release went on to caution that Pakistan’s nation and its military are fully capable and determined to protect each inch of our land with full determination and “every act of aggression will be met with a swift, firm and vehement response that will be remembered by posterity”.
