KARACHI (Kashmir English): Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has introduced a new variant of its multipurpose vehicle (MPV), the Karvaan Power Comfort 1.2L, priced at an introductory price of Rs. 3.149 million.
The introduction follows weeks after MCML unveiled the Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L in August, which has sold more than 1,000 units in 50 days, as per company data.
The Karvaan Power Comfort, which was launched recently, will be placed below the Power Plus model in the lineup and provide a relatively lower-cost option in the MPV market. The car comes with safety features such as two airbags, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, and an anti-theft alarm.
The Karvaan Power Plus, which will be the top-of-the-line model, continues to be the flagship model with extra safety and comfort aspects in addition to a bigger cabin space.
Below is a breakdown of the two versions in detail:
MCML has been retailing the Karvaan range as its flagship in the small MPV segment, targeting families as well as business operators. The company stated that over 25,000 Karvaan vehicles are now in operation across the country.
With this new launch, Changan will have two 1.2L Karvaan models available in Pakistan — the Power Plus and the Power Comfort, targeting different market segments of buyers.
