ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has refused to accept allegations made in a recent article published by senior anchorperson and Columnist Suhail Waraich, stating it as baseless and misleading.
Setting the record straight, the DG ISPR stated that the incident in question occurred in Brussels, and there were hundreds of people who were there and took snaps of Field Marshal Asim Munir during his visit.
While talking to the media, the DG ISPR stated that no interview was given by the Army Chief, and they claim that talking about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) or an apology is all wrong; nothing like this was ever mentioned.
It is a sad day that irresponsible journalism was exemplified despite being an experienced journalist, the DG said.
The DG ISPR expressed sorrow that, despite being an experienced journalist, Suhail Wasraich showcased such irregular behavior.
Additionally, the DG ISPR stated that the journalist’s act as a chance to get attention from authorities and media.
Moreover, the military reinforced the point that culprits and masterminds behind the May 9 incidents would be dealt with as per the law.
Reasserting Pakistan’s strength, the DG added that the nation has a central role to play in the region, and for this reason, it is a common target for hostile forces.
The DG motivated the youth to learn and know the history and culture of their ideological state.
The DG ISPR further asserted that India has downgraded Pakistan’s image by utilizing disinformation campaigns and proxies of terrorism.
These efforts did not work, though, as Pakistan’s aggressive reaction hurt India’s and its proxies’ reputation.

The statement reiterates that the 2014 political parties’ agreement to eliminate terrorism had yet to be executed well.
He stressed the need to expel criminally involved illegal Afghan residents and ensure the 14 National Action Plan goals are entirely implemented.
The youth are the country’s real asset, it claimed, quoting that “the Army, police, and law enforcement agencies are shedding their blood daily to fill governance vacancies.”
