MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Kashmir has announced to boycott the All Parties Conference (APC) called by the PM Anwar-led government.
While talking to the media today, Former Prime Minister AJK Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said that we had informed the government about the party’s decision not to join the APC.
“PTI’s position is clear that we fully support the public demands; however, some demands may be reduced,” he said.
Niazi said that the government is trying to use it as a tactic to maintain its power, but Azad Kashmir cannot afford such a situation.
In view of the current situation created by the government, PTI’s position is very clear that we are with the people in public matters.
He said that if the government neglects the rights of the people, tries to harm the parliamentary system, and tarnishes the honor of the assembly, then similar situations will arise.
