ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad on Saturday granted bail to former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi till September 18 in a case related to the November 26 protest at D Chowk in Islamabad.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader appeared before the court in the case registered at G-9 Police Station.
Duty Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich stopped Islamabad police from arresting Niazi in the November 26 protest case.
During the hearing, Qayyum Niazi’s lawyers, Sardar Masroof Advocate, Zahid Bashir Dar, and Murtaza Hussain Toor appeared.
Arrest warrants were previously issued against President PTI Azad Kashmir, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, at G-9 Police Station in connection with the same case.
