ALMATY (Kashmir English):  Pakistan’s young golf stars, Mahad Khan and Sara Amin Khan, have made the nation proud by clinching the boys’ and girls’ titles at the Kazakhstan Junior Open Golf Championship 2025.

The championship was held at the Ziljaw Golf Club in Almaty.

In the boys’ competition, Mahad Khan delivered a masterclass of precision and consistency to claim the top spot, leaving his rival far behind.

Fellow Pakistani player Zahid Umar Arshad secured the runner-up position with a strong performance.

In the girls’ category, Sara Amin Khan dominated the field, displaying remarkable skill and composure to lift the championship trophy.

Mahad khan further distinguished himself by winning the longest drive award, while Zahid Umar Arshad earned the closest to the pin honour.

The entire team received heartfelt greetings from the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF). The players’ perseverance, hard work, and commitment were praised by the PGF President and Secretary, who called the championship victories a “beautiful gift for the nation on Independence Day.”

The statement says, “This victory is a proud moment for Pakistan in international sports, as well as a celebration of individual excellence.”
