Kashmiris to protest in front of Eiffel Tower on Indian Independence Day

PARIS (Kashmir English): Kashmiris across the globe will observe India’s Independence Day on August 15 as Black Day.

The International Kashmir Peace Forum France has announced a protest demonstration on that day in front of the Eiffel Tower here to record their protest against illegal occupation of their homeland.

India’s Independence Day will be observed as Black Day under the auspices of the International Kashmir Peace Forum France.

A large protest demonstration will be held in front of the Eiffel Tower, in which Pakistani and Kashmiri communities, human rights activists, and representatives of various political and social organizations will participate.

Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan

Addressing the forum’s meeting in Paris, Zahid Iqbal Hashmi said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and this struggle will continue until the freedom of the Kashmiri people.

He demanded the international community take notice of Indian atrocities and serious human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.

On this occasion, General Secretary Raja Tahir said in his address that Pakistani forces made India bite the dust on every front, and the morale of the Kashmiri people is also high.

He said that exposing India’s ugly face to the world is need of the hour, adding observing the Black Day is a part of this effort.

The speakers expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people and reiterated their resolve that this struggle against oppression and tyranny will continue under all circumstances, and the voice of Kashmiris will continue to be raised worldwide.
