HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, has said that ‘non-political’ system in Azad Kashmir has weakened ideological politics.
He emphasized that the current government lacks political and ideological ownership, leading to various problems.
PML-N and AJK politics
He highlighted that the Pakistan Muslim League-N is a symbol of ideology and has made significant contributions to the country’s development and progress.
He claimed that the PML-N’s government in AJK from 2016 to 2021 achieved remarkable success in infrastructure development and governance.
He alleged that Imran Khan’s government stole their mandate through conspiracy in the 2021 elections, resulting in three prime ministers changing in a short period.
He welcomed a large number of people joining his party from other parties, including the Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
He expressed confidence that the party would form the next government in the state.
The former prime minister praised the party’s achievements during their tenure and emphasized the importance of teamwork and responsibility.
He also directed the party leaders to strengthen the organization and welcome new members.
