HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Senior Vice President of Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir, Ashfaq Zafar, has paid heartfelt tribute to Major Rab Nawaz Gilani Shaheed, calling his sacrifice a “beacon of hope” for the entire nation.
Speaking to journalists, Ashfaq Zafar of Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir, offered condolences to the family of the martyred officer and said that the people of Muzaffarabad and all of Azad Kashmir are proud of their brave son. “Major Rab Nawaz Gilani is a true national hero whose sacrifice will never be forgotten. His bravery has crushed the evil intentions of our enemies,” he stated.
Ashfaq Zafar praised the unmatched dedication and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, saying that their efforts have led the country out of the shadows of terrorism and put it on a path to peace. “Every child in Azad Kashmir stands with the Pakistan Army. We see the Army not just as our protectors, but as our pride,” he added.
He noted that the people of Kashmir mourn together whenever a soldier is martyred. “The heart of every Kashmiri beats with the soldiers of the Army,” Ashfaq Zafar said.
Addressing the global community, Ashfaq Zafar urged the world to recognize the unity between the Pakistani Army and the Kashmiri people. “If the world wants to see the real face of peace, stability, and sacrifice, it should look at Pakistan’s soldiers and the people of Kashmir standing together,” he emphasized.
He also highlighted that the nation owes a debt to martyrs like Major Gilani who sacrificed their today for our better tomorrow.
Praising the professional skills, sacrifices, and patriotism of the Pakistan Army, Ashfaq Zafar stated, “The Army is our hope, our strength, and the first line of our defense. We stand with our Army in every field and will continue to stand till our last breath.”
