MIRPUR (Kashmir English): In a significant stride toward reframing the global Kashmir discourse, the Kashmir Global Council (KGC), in collaboration with the National Council of Human Welfare (NCHW), will convene a landmark conference at Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C on July 14, 2025, announced the organisers officially.
Themed “Kashmir: From Conflict to Peace – Post-Solution Opportunities and Investment,” the conference is poised to ignite meaningful dialogue around sustainable peace, regional collaboration, and visionary investment in Kashmir’s future.
With a focus on post-conflict solutions, the event underscores Kashmir’s place not just as a geopolitical issue but as a moral and political imperative on the international stage, says a message released from Atlanta and Georgia.
“This isn’t just a milestone for the diaspora,” said Raja Muzaffar, US-based acting Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front JKLF (Yasin Malik faction) and a leading voice in the movement.
Kashmir’s path forward lies in justice
“It’s a message to the world: Kashmir’s path forward lies in justice, dignity, and constructive engagement.”
The Capitol Hill venue marks a deliberate step in garnering global attention toward peaceful resolution and innovative strategies for rebuilding.
Scholars, advocates, and policymakers will gather to explore ways to transform Kashmir into a bridge of peace and friendship across South and Central Asia, the message said.
The event also celebrates cultural resilience and intellectual contributions from across the Kashmiri community.
