RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): Vice Chancellor University of Poonch, Rawalakot Professor Dr. Zakaria Zakir chaired a meeting to assess the progress of ongoing development projects and address academic matters at the university.
During the meeting, Professor Dr. Nasir Rahim, Project Director for the Chota Gala Campus, provided a comprehensive update on the status of the development projects.
The Vice Chancellor expressed his satisfaction with the progress made so far and instructed the relevant departments to expedite the completion of the projects.
The university’s deans and senior faculty members briefed Dr. Zakaria Zakir on their strategies for the upcoming admissions. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the need for an awareness campaign to inform the public about the university’s research and academic facilities.
University’s financial stability
He stated that such initiatives would not only boost admissions but also enhance the university’s financial stability. Furthermore, he urged all faculty members to utilize their full potential and offer extensive support to incoming students.
Dr. Zakaria Zakar highlighted the evolving landscape of education, driven by advancements in technology, and stressed the importance of adapting to these changes.
He reiterated that it is the university’s responsibility to embrace modern technologies and foster positive transformation within the institution.
