BATTAL BASHASH (Kashmir English): In a tragic incident, a four-wheeler vehicle carrying no fewer than eight individuals met with an accident at the location of Battal Bashash, Muzaffarabad.
A rescue team from JKUM Kahuri was swiftly dispatched to the accident scene following receipt of the distress call.
According to the reports, there were 8 passengers onboard at the time of the car accident and unfortunately, all eight of them received injuries with 6 of the passengers having minor scratches.
Whereas, the other two passengers received severe injuries and are in critical condition according to the reports. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
The injured passengers are identified as Shoaib, Saqib, Jalal, Uzair, Abdul Hadi, Saim, Aqarab, and Qaim.
Fortunately, the rescue teams transported the injured passengers to the CMH Hospital Muzaffarabad on time where they are receiving further medical assistance.
Such tragic incidents highlight the importance of safe driving and the need to follow driving rules especially when traveling for longer time periods.
