Khawarij killed in North Waziristan identified as Afghan nationals

Earlier, eight Fitna Al Khawarij terrorists who were killed in North Waziristan while infiltrating from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border on Wednesday have been identified.

Security sources said that two of them have turned out to be Afghan citizens.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that eight Khawarij were killed in a successful operation by security forces in the Datakhel area of North Waziristan on April 1.

“The movement of the terrorists along the border was detected by security personnel, who then engaged the terrorists with precision, and weapons and ammunition were also recovered,” the ISPR said.

The sources said that the first terrorist is identified as Ameer Hamza Haqyar, son of Abdul Karim, while the second terrorist is Abdul Rahim, son of Zar Wali, who hails from Paktia, Afghanistan.

“This is a clear example of how the Afghan Taliban are trying to endanger the peace and order of Pakistan by using terrorist groups in Pakistan,” the sources said.

For this reason, Pakistan is repeatedly taking strict measures to ensure its border security and internal security.

Under Operation Ghazb-ul-Haq, Pakistan has continued its operations against terrorists, which aim not only to destroy terrorist hideouts but also to protect the country’s citizens, maintain the integrity of the border, and maintain lasting peace in the region.

“These operations against anti-Pakistan elements will continue, God willing,” security sources added.
