RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The security forces have successfully foiled infiltration from fitna-ul-Khawarij through a thickly vegetated border area, killing at least 13 Khawarij, including three suicide bombers.
Five braveheart soldiers embraced martyrdom, and one sustained injuries in exchange for heavy fire with the terrorists, according to security sources.
The infiltration attempt was detected and engaged by troops. During the intense exchange of fire, three suicide bombers detonated themselves after being hit by security forces.
At least ten dead bodies of the Khawarijs were spotted in the area, as per the security sources.
A search operation is being carried out in the area to completely eliminate the threat.
