KOTLI (Kashmir English): In a tragic incident, a young female student got severely injured after being electrocuted by the exposed 11,000 kV main line wires lying near the ground.
This incident occurred when the student identified as Zarsh Kashif returned home after school and got hit by the exposed electricity wire.
As a result, Zarsh received severe injuries all over the body and was shifted to the nearby hospital in critical condition. Due to the severity of the incident, doctors amputated her hands and arms, leaving the innocent girl disabled for the rest of her life.
Residents have expressed deep sorrow and outrage, stating that such incidents happen due to the negligence and incompetence of the electricity department.
The public has urged the government and concerned authorities to take immediate action on this matter and highlighted that exposed electricity wires are a common issue and should be treated to avoid such horrible accidents.
