According to WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.26.4.8, this subscription plan is likely to include special stickers, app themes, the ability to pin more than 3 chats, app icon customization, and new chat ringtones.

According to the company, these are initial features, and more features may be added based on user feedback.

WhatsApp is also developing a new Thinking mode for Meta AI, which is designed to provide deeper analysis and better answers to complex questions.

In this mode, the AI will take longer to generate an answer, while Fast mode will be available for quick and simple answers. In the future, users will be able to choose the mode according to their needs

WhatsApp on Android is also working on allowing channel admins to share status updates. Under this feature, admins will be able to share images, videos, and voice messages as statuses in the channel, which will automatically disappear after 24 hours.

WhatsApp is also preparing to introduce a paid partnership feature for channel updates, through which channel admins will be able to label sponsored content as paid partnerships clearly.

Once labeled, it will be necessary to delete the update to remove it. WhatsApp is also introducing a feature to show recent chat searches on Android, which will allow users to revisit their recent searches easily.

In addition, the facility is being provided for channel admins to see how many times their updates have been forwarded; however, this information will not be visible to followers.

WhatsApp has also introduced stricter account security settings for Android and iOS users, which can be enabled with a single toggle. Along with this, the Rust programming language is also being adopted to protect media files.

According to WhatsApp, all these features are in various stages, and more updates are expected in the coming days.
