WhatsApp new feature enables users for quicker access to channel updates

CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows users to explore channel photographs, GIFs, videos, and links, which is already accessible to certain beta testers.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature, which works similarly to starred messages in group and individual conversations, would enable users to bookmark selected updates inside a channel for later access.

The feature promises increased comfort for user by allowing them to recover essential changes without having to read through the full channel history.

The previous procedure, in certain cases, was time-taking and annoying, particularly when looking for media in networks that routinely publish a large number of updates.

Furthermore, sans absence of a specialized media and links area, it was difficult for visitors to rapidly find significant material, particularly if they couldn’t remember any particular words to assist focus the search.
