Weather forecast: PMD predicts mainly dry weather across country

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly dry weather across most of the country, including Islamabad, on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

However, according to the weather advisory, rain, wind, and thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms are expected in Balochistan.

“Rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and South Punjab during the evening/night,” it added.

The Met Office said that the weather is likely to be dry in Murree and Galiyat, while rain is likely in Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Mianwali, and Khushab.

The weather will remain dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rain is expected at a few places in Bannu, Karak, DI Khan, Chitral, Waziristan, Kurram, and Hangu.

The weather will remain dry in most districts of Sindh, while rain is expected at a few places in Sukkur, Dadu, and Sanghar. Rain and hail are also expected at a few places in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, and Qila Abdullah.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain and hail are also expected in Noshki, Zhob, Kalat, Mastung, Sibi, Loralai, and Khuzdar.
