ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Renowned Journalist Batool Rajput said that ” she wants to raise this question that the article ‘it is over‘ by Zorain Nizamani was deleted due to external pressure or it was self-censorship by the publication”.
Sharing her thoughts on her YouTube channel, Batool added that she had an experience of self-censorship, where the media outlets themselves did not hire an interview with a politician.
She added that it has to be made clear by the publication that the article which was removed was due to external pressure by anyone, or it was an act of self-censorship because the writer had earlier wrote same kind of article that is still present on the publication website.
She said, ‘Why this time the article was removed as it has not directly pointed out any individual or institutions, adding that she had asked the editor of the publication about the removal of the articles but no answer was given to her.
