WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): US President Donald Trump has said that the war with Iran is close to ending.
In an interview with Fox News, President Trump, responding to a question about ceasefire, said that Iran wants to make a deal with us in any way, and they believe the situation is very close to the war ending soon.
President Trump said that he would not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons under any circumstances adding Iran may disturb the global balance by becoming a nuclear power. The US President said that Iran needs 20 years for reconstruction.
Next round of US-Iran talks
Earlier, President Trump had said that negotiations with Iran could take place in Pakistan, as, in a telephonic conversation with an American journalist, President Trump asked him to stay in Islamabad.
President Trump told the journalist, “If I were you, I would stay in Islamabad, things are changing, significant progress could be made in the next 48 hours.”
Journalist Caitlin Doornbos told a private Pakistani TV channel that it’s unusual for the President to call you back, I’m very happy, this is the first time it has happened in my career, the President called again.
President Trump said he cares about the New York Post. The President said he didn’t want me to miss any important news.
President Donald Trump also praised Field Marshal Asim Munir for making efforts to iron out a peace deal.
