LONDON (Kashmir English): Former parliamentary candidate for Sutton Coldfield, Wajid Burkey has urged the Muslim Ummah to unite so as to stop the ongoing Zionist brutality in Palestine, stating that the pain of Palestinians and Kashmiris is the same.
He emphasized that Kashmiris stand shoulder to shoulder with their Palestinian brothers and sisters, like a solid wall of resistance.
He condemned Israel’s genocide of Gaza’s Muslims and stated that there is no justification for the brutal Israeli bombings.
He paid tribute to the unarmed Palestinians who are standing up to Israeli aggression, calling them heroes of humanity.
Burkey criticized Israel for breaking the truce during the holy month of Ramadan, describing it as an act of inhumanity and a blatant violation of international laws, while, he said, Hamas honoured the agreement.
No meaningful action on Palestine, Kashmir
Burkey lamented the United Nations’ failure to take meaningful action on both Palestine and Kashmir, and called on youth to raise awareness of Zionist atrocities through social and digital media.
According to him, Israel’s very existence poses a threat to peace in the Middle East, and the Muslim world must unite and support the global boycott campaign of Israeli products.
He said innocent Palestinians are falling victim to Israeli brutality, and despite heartbreaking stories from besieged Gaza, the conscience of the world remains unmoved.
Burkey stressed that resistance is the only solution, and that “we must speak to the Zionists and their allies in their own language.”
He said the Muslim world must take a hard stance to protect the defenceless Muslims of Palestine, as Israeli atrocities have crossed every limit of humanity.
He condemned the global silence over Gaza’s suffering as a criminal act, and called on Muslims to rise for the protection of Al-Aqsa (the First Qibla).
Burkey warned that if a sustainable solution to the Palestinian issue is not found, other Islamic countries in the Middle East could also fall prey to Israeli aggression.
He demanded the United Nations take concrete action against Israeli barbarism, and if it fails, the Muslim Ummah should unite and devise a strong strategy to confront the ongoing oppression.
