ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Dense fog covered the federal capital, Islamabad, and its surrounding areas on Thursday night, reducing visibility to the traffic flow.
The dense fog covered major road stretches from Naval Anchorage to DHA Phase II on the Express Highway, as well as Bahria Town phases 4 and 7.
Several housing blocks in the area, which are near the Sawan River, also witnessed low navigation due to the fog in Islamabad.
The traffic authority asked drivers to decrease speed, turn on fog lights when necessary, and observe safe distances in order to avoid accidents due to the reduced visibility.
