Violent clash between student groups at MUST spreads panic in campus

MIRPUR (Kashmir English): A violent confrontation between two student groups at Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST) has led to a tense and chaotic situation on campus.

The students of the Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) department have confronted, spreading fear and panic among other students.

As per details, one group has locked down the university gates, trapping staff, teachers, and students inside, and switching off the electricity. The power outage has caused fear and panic among female students, with many in distress.

As the situation escalated, many parents gathered outside the university, visibly distressed by the situation.

A large contingent of police has been deployed outside the university to maintain law and order. Security measures have been tightened to prevent further escalation.

The university administration has suspended all academic activities until further notice, and the official stance has not yet been issued.

As per details, the district administration and higher education authorities have been informed about the situation. An investigation is likely to be conducted to determine the cause of the clash and identify those responsible.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of students on campus, as the parents have demanded immediate action.
