RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): An egg was thrown at former prime minister Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, during a press conference outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on Friday.
According to the details, two girls hurled an egg during the PTI leader’s media talk and tried to escape from the scene; however, angry party workers stopped and broke the windscreen of the car.
Later, they were detained by the Rawalpindi police and shifted to the Adiala police checkpost.
The incident led to the chaos during Aleema’s press talk. She sat in the car and left the scene, postponing the presser.

Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said that the arrested women belonged to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The culprits are the representatives of the All Government Employees Grand Alliance and the All Pakistan Clerks Association from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and they came to protest for their demands, police said.
The spokesperson further added that they threw an egg after Aleema Khan did not respond to their questions.
PTI leaders condemned the incident and confirmed that a case will be registered against the women.
