WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): U.S. President Trump has expressed optimism about a possible peace deal in Gaza as early as next week. Speaking to reporters in Washington, Trump said that negotiations with Hamas may lead to a ceasefire soon, offering hope in the ongoing Middle East conflict.

Speaking to reporters in Washington, Trump welcomed Hamas’ willingness to negotiate and said that a deal on Gaza is possible soon. He noted that there is still much to be done in Gaza and that the U.S. is sending a large amount of aid to the region.

Trump also mentioned plans to discuss Iran with the Israeli Prime Minister, claiming that Iran’s nuclear program had been completely dismantled, though he acknowledged the possibility of it restarting.

On the other side, Hamas announced that it is ready to take part in a new round of serious negotiations. The group responded positively to proposals put forward by Qatar and the U.S., which include prisoner exchange and a long-term ceasefire agreement.

Sources say Hamas has completed internal consultations and shared a favorable reply with mediators from Qatar and Egypt. They also confirmed their readiness to participate immediately in the next phase of peace talks.

Trump’s comments come at a time when tensions in the region are high, but the shift in Hamas’ stance is being seen as a major step toward peace. Observers believe Trump may use this opportunity to push for a breakthrough ahead of upcoming political events.
