SHARJAH: Pakistan and Afghanistan will face each other today in the tri-series final match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
In the series being played in the United Arab Emirates, two matches were played between the two teams, with both teams winning one match each.
The UAE team was eliminated from the tournament after losing all four matches.
The match will be played at 8 pm Pakistani time at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, which hosts record international matches.
It should be noted that the Asia Cup will start on September 9 at the end of this series.
Earlier, Pakistan qualified for the final by defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 31 runs in the fifth match of the tri-nation T20 series.
In the match played in Sharjah Cricket Ground, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat against the United Arab Emirates.
Batting first, the Pakistan team scored 171 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
While chasing Pakistan’s target of 172 runs, the UAE team could score 140 runs for the loss of 7 wickets and lost the match by 31 runs.
Moreover, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the schedule for Pakistan’s all-format series against South Africa.
