ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Indus Motor Company has implemented higher freight charges for all Toyota models, which will result in increased vehicle costs for all customers throughout Pakistan.
The company needs to raise prices because fuel costs have risen, which has created additional expenses for transportation. The new freight charges differ according to different vehicle types and different geographical areas, with customers in northern regions experiencing the most significant price jump.
The new pricing system establishes a base rate of Rs. 30,000 for customers in Karachi and Hyderabad who belong to Group 1, while other areas will experience different price increases.
The Group 4 customers in North and Faisalabad will face extra expenses that reach as high as Rs. 296,000, which particularly affects the premium Land Cruiser models.
Toyota Top Models Price Increase
The popular models, which include Toyota Corolla and Yaris, Fortuner and Hilux, Hiace and Camry, and Land Cruiser, will use the new freight charges. The price increase includes small price changes for entry-level vehicles and large price increases for SUV models.
The company has limited customer relief through its decision to maintain previous rates until customers pay in full before April 17, 2026. Buyers planning to purchase a vehicle are advised to complete payments before the deadline to avoid additional costs.
The automotive industry shows increasing operational cost pressure, which results from rising fuel prices, according to industry experts. The latest freight charge revision will reduce customer demand because it affects regions with greater freight charge increases.

The first-year insurance price for the automobile is Rs 79,162. The monthly cost for a 3-year installment plan is Rs 83,947, with a down payment of PKR 1,061,598.
The down payment covers the first year of advance insurance, and the monthly payments include the insurance cost. However, the figures given are preliminary and subject to change.
