WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): The United States President Donald Trump has said that “Time is running out for Iran adding that serious consequences could follow if Iran failed to comply.

In a post shared on social media platform Truth Social, Donald Trump said that “Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT.”

He added that “Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD!”

Trump says US ‘very close’ to achieving objectives in Iran

US President Donald Trump Thursday said the US was “going to finish the job” and was “very close” to achieving its objectives in Iran.

Addressing the American public on the war in Iran, Trump also thanked Washington’s Gulf allies, saying he would “make sure they don’t get hurt”.

Trump said his ‘first preference’ was peace and added Iran’s actions left him no choice. “We are systematically dismantling the regime.”

President Trump also paid tribute to US troops engaged in Operation Epic Fury.

Trump further said the Strait of Hormuz will “open up naturally” when the war concludes.

“Iran has been essentially decimated – the hard part is done, so it should be easy, and in any event, when this conflict is over, the strait will open up naturally, it will just open up naturally,”

“They are going to want to be able to sell oil, because that’s all they have to try and rebuild.”

Trump also told the countries to ‘build some delayed courage’ over Hormuz closure.

He further said that US will hit Iran ‘extremely hard’ over the next two or three weeks.

War is “nearing completion”: Trump

He told his nation that the Iran war is “nearing completion,” as he projected another two to three weeks of involvement.

“Tonight, I’m pleased to say that these core strategic objectives are nearing completion,” Trump said in address to the nation.

“We’ve done all of it. Their navy is gone. Their air force is gone. Their missiles are just about used up or beaten. Taken together, these actions will cripple Iran military, crush their ability to support terrorist proxies and deny them the ability to build a nuclear bomb. Our armed forces have been extraordinary,” Trump said.
