RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Asim Munir, on Thursday, while interacting with Vice Chancellors, Principals, and Senior Teachers of various universities, emphasised that Pakistan will never compromise on the issue of Kashmir.

Interacting with the teachers and scholars, Field Marsha stated, “Teachers are the biggest asset of Pakistan. Whatever I am today, I am because of my parents and teachers. It is the responsibility of teachers to shape the character of the next generations of Pakistan.”

He expressed gratitude and hope from the teaching community, saying, “You (teachers) have to tell the story of Pakistan to your next generations.”

Field Marshal Asim Munir while referring to the recent Pakistani victory against Indian aggression, stated, “In the fight for truth, Allah Almighty helped Pakistan in every way. The fight for truth is proof that when the entire nation becomes an iron wall, no power in the world can tear it down.”

While highlighting the oppression against innocent Kashmiri people by the occupying force (India), the Chief reaffirmed, “No deal for Kashmir is possible, we can never forget Kashmir. India should know that Pakistan will never leave Kashmir.”

Following the Pahalgam incident in April, India announced the unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty in a series of illegal policies.

“Water is Pakistan’s red line, and this fundamental right of 240 million Pakistanis will not be allowed to be violated. Pakistan will never accept India’s monopoly,” affirmed Field Marshal Asim Munir.

“India has tried to suppress the Kashmir issue for decades, but it has failed; now it is no longer possible. Terrorism is India’s internal problem, the main reason for which is the increasing oppression and bigotry against minorities, especially Muslims, while Kashmir is a global issue.”
